Participants are welcomed to their culinary experience by the sous chef for the day.


Decorations stand ready for cookies and anything else needing sparkle and glitter.


A six foot shelf of spices is arranged alphabetically and ready for a quick grab.


An extensive culinary library is available for the use of students.


The chocolate and sugar working station has granite counters to help the sweet artistry.


For savory and sweet work: the six burner Garland stove accommodates full sheet pans and the two convection/conduction wall ovens are a baker’s delight.


A 9 X 3 foot red oak block table does double duty as a mixing station and prep counter.


Kitchen facilities include a 7 X 5 foot granite island with plenty of seating and electrical outlets. An extensive array of quality pots and pans is readily available to participants.


The kitchen is supplied with two dishwashers (other than the human variety), including one that does the dishes for participants in 90 seconds along with a three basin sink.


Ready for mixing — and kneading — with three KitchenAid mixers and a 20-quart Hobart Professional mixer.


In addition to a Cuisinart, the Cooking Therapy kitchen is equipped with a professional model Robot Coupe to ease food preparation.


The “mise en place” is readied for each participant before arrival. The freshest and finest ingredients available are essential for each recipe.


A traditional Dishwasher is one of two in the kitchen.


The second dishwasher is a commercial version that processes a load in 90 seconds.
