Will your party be a grander event than the Cooking Therapy kitchen can accommodate? Would you like to enjoy the Cooking Therapy food without doing a hands-on event? Cooking Therapy utilizes award-winning Kismet Gallery in Troy, NY as a vibrant site for many special events. Kismet has been voted the “Best Art Gallery in the Capital Region” by Times Union readers. You will have exclusive evening use of the gallery for your office or personal party. Cooking Therapy will take care of all of the details — providing a customized buffet, including a cooking demonstration if desired. A catering kitchen exists on-site for Cooking Therapy’s use. Albany’s Metroland newspaper voted Cooking Therapy’s food the “Best Art Gallery Food” in the Capital Region in 2007. They stated,
| New kid on the block Kismet in Troy rocks a hardcore political manifesto and features some righteous art, but man, the food. We ain’t talking cheese and crackers here peoples, no: fresh crab rangoon, chicken skewers and chocolate fondue. It’s like we died and went to, well, Kismet on an opening night. |
Cooking Therapy is the exclusive caterer for the weekend knitting retreats just before and after their regular season at historic Wiawaka Holiday House on Lake George. These events, attended by approximately 30 individuals, are becoming renowned almost as much for their gourmet food as for the exquisite setting and good company.

Cooking Therapy's web master needed a wedding cake to compliment his home wedding. Cooking Therapy's Head Chef prepared a lemon butter pound cake with buttercream frosting and lemon curd filling. It was topped by a white chocolate bride and groom molded in an antique butter mold, and dusted with edible 24K gold. The final touch was a garland of fresh flowers. Congratulations to David and Bobbi! If you would like Cooking Therapy to help with your event, give us a call — whether it's for one item, or a full party of hors d'oeuvres.
