Cooking Therapy Chef Wins Wine Studies Scholarship!
March 2004 — The New York State Restaurant Association announced that Chef Katherine Wardle was awarded a Donald P. Lancella Memorial Wine Education Scholarship. She used this competitive award to further her skills by traveling to Umbria and Tuscany, Italy in the company of cookbook writer and chef Micol Negrin. While in Italy, Chef Wardle attended culinary classes, visiting vineyards, and participated in educational opportunities to explore wine pairings with both savory and sweet food items. Thanks go to the NYS Restaurant Association for making this wonderful opportunity possible.
Cooking Therapy wins Metroland Award!
July 2007 — Cooking Therapy, with Katherine Wardle as chef, is the exclusive caterer for Kismet Gallery in Troy, NY. Kismet was recently voted "Best Art Gallery in the Capital Region" by the Times Union readers, and Kismet's food was voted "Best Art Gallery Food" by Metroland.
